Walking barefoot through the weeds

This week's altered playing card for
Waddington Weekly
marks the halfway point through the year.

It uses lines from a poem by John McGrath.

When our streets are green again
and girls walk barefoot through the weeds
when foxes slide and hedgehogs sniff

laugh and grow to love again

The image of the fox was from The Graphics Fairy.
